Each duck in the Raincoat collection is handcarved in Indonesia from a single piece of bamboo root, which means no two are alike. The grain shifts, the stance varies slightly, and somewhere in that warm natural timber a distinct personality begins to emerge. The painted finish is bold and lacquered, catching the light beautifully against the honey tones of the carved wood beneath. Closer inspection reveals the small details that set DCUK apart: neat button fastenings down the front, shaped pockets on each side, and carefully piped trim along the coat hem. The little DCUK name tag is worn with the quiet pride of someone with places to be.
